Life on The Frontline – Week 18

A weekly blog from a family made by adoption, warmed by the laughter, broken by the sadness, held together by love with a big dollop of hope, oh, and often soaked in mummy tears.

Life on the frontline post is not only late this week but it will also be very brief. The reason being that life has unravelled so extensively here in the last week that, I can’t yet sit and make enough sense of it all.

Just to say that on a Monday morning I am sat trying to work out, where I start rebuilding from, again. There is that wonder at how easily the dynamics of your life can shift and the wall of defence you build around yourself and your family are quickly flood with all the fears and anxieties that you had previously banished. The priority becomes keeping yourself and your children safe. That is what I’m going to concentrate on today.

Small steps, keep focused & carry on. Most of us have been there at some time. Our thoughts are with you as are our (virtual) hugs <3 <3
