Weekly Adoption Shout Out #WASO Week 48

Well, it’s almost Christmas, and as busy mums we’ll be taking a two-week break over the festive period to concentrate on Christmas with our families.
BADGE7So this is our last brand new post of 2013, and our last #WASO of the year too. But this is an extra special one and will be open until 5th January, so if you get a chance to write over Christmas, do come and link up. There is no theme, just link up any adoption related posts. Then our first #WASO of 2014 will begin on 10th January, with the unoriginal theme of ‘resolutions’ just in case any of you have got any!

Over the next two weeks, we’ll be re-posting some of our most popular blog posts since our launch back in June, and we hope that if you’ve read them before, you’ll enjoy them just as much second time around, but if you’re new to The Adoption Social, you might find them interesting – leave us a comment if you do.

As always please share your favourite posts, support the bloggers by clicking through, reading and commenting (let them know you found them through #WASO too), and keep checking back to see the other posts that link up.

Most importantly, remember to come back in the new year when we’ll be kicking off with our brand new linkyThe Things We Do. It’ll run Monday to Sunday every week and we invite you to share those little (or not so little) things you do that help your children, make your life run a bit smoother or help you address and approach issues. It can be anything from a particular theraplay technique that helps your children open up, to your tips on making bedtime less of a battle, to those little things you do that help your children get through difficult moments. Long posts, short posts or photos are all welcome.

For now though, Sarah and I would like to thank all of those who contribute, read or share posts from The Adoption Social, or from our own blogs – The Boy’s Behaviour and The Puffin Diaries. And we wish you all the Christmas you are hoping for, and our very best wishes for 2014. Now, go get linking those posts…
